Ironhouse Building Supply was established on January 1st of 2006 in response to a growing demand for moisture intrusion and extreme weather protection.  In the years preceding our establishment, great concern had developed regarding water damage, mold and mildew problems and overall hurricane and tornado protection.  Homeowners were complaining of water leaks around window openings and mold build up inside their walls.  We have seen hurricanes and tornadoes terrorize family after family year after year.  The moisture intrusion problems were traced back to improper installation of moisture barriers or “house wrap” and poor quality house wrap material or sometimes none at all.  Far too often builders were relying on other trades, such as framing companies or stucco companies to install their “house wrap” instead of moisture barrier specialists.  This left a huge niche in the market for a professional and certified moisture barrier supply and installation company. Hurricanes and Tornadoes have been a guaranteed occurrence every year throughout the Southeast.  With these destructive and devastating forces of nature most families are left with little or no warning before impact, which often leads to casualties.  Ironhouse has teamed up with Dupont to offer the Dupont Storm Room and to give every family the right to peace of mind.  These storm rooms were designed and tested specifically to withstand the extreme forces of hurricanes and Tornados.  Ironhouse installers have been trained and certified by Dupont in every step of the installation process in an effort to produce the highest quality extreme weather protection possible. Ironhouse has created a network of professional and certified installation companies throughout the state of Florida.  We provide services for Commercial and Residential application.  We have all of the tools, equipment and qualified personnel to handle virtually any type of application including a 45’ articulating lift, delivery trucks, forklifts and more.  Ironhouse operates out of a new office/warehouse facility that enables us to service over 52 builders in Central Florida with projects ranging from singles story homes to 4-1/2 story multifamily condominiums.  We have more than quadrupled in size within the last year and we continue to grow.
